How cooling beats encryption

There was an interesting article by John Markoff in NY Times on Felten's study at Princeton. Felten used an inexpensive can of coolant to freeze DRAM chips and read private keys. Most disk encryption products save keys in RAM. Clearly, a simple and elegant way to beat file encryption.
